Bubble hash is made out of trichomes from tje cannabis plant – THC! Since THC is non-water soluble, ice water is used to isolate and crystallize the trichomes. Vigorous mixing of plant and ice water causes trichomes to separate from plant. The “bubble” name comes from foamy nature of the mixed plant/water. When the mixing is done, the water sifted through fine mesh to extract the hash.
